WHAT ARE GROUPS?

JOINING A GROUP

At the beginning of every semester there will be sign-ups available online and in the church lobby. Groups meet for a semester and then everyone has the opportunity to stay in the same group, change to a different group, or take a break.

GROUP OPTIONS

You can join groups based on stage of life, gender, time, location, or topic. We have men's, women's, coed, moms, young adults, and mental health groups available.

SERMON BASED

Many groups meet to discuss how to apply the sermon from that week to their everyday life.

REAL-LIFE SCHEDULE

Our schedule is built around natural breaks in the year. We meet in the Fall (September-December), and Spring (January-May). While Christian community does not stop, our group meetings do - giving people time to rest, connect with neighbors, and take advantage of other opportunities available during those breaks.

THE GOAL

We were made to follow Jesus together. Groups are where we seek to become more like Jesus by practicing love, worship, prayer, and applying God's Word for our lives.

COMMON QUESTIONS

When can I register?

You can sign up for a group in the Fall and Spring. If you ever have any questions, please contact Jonathan, Worship & Connections Pastor.

What if I attend for the first time and it is not a fit or my schedule changes?

We understand. Let us know and they will help you find another group option. God works in our lives as we interact with other followers of Jesus. The people in your group may not be the people you would have picked, but often God knows just who we need in our lives and leads us together.

What if I have a desire to lead a group?

We would love to explore leading a group with you. Our goal is to help you grow and use your God-given gifts. Usually our group leaders have experience being in a group or groups and have shepherding/leadership gifts, strong relational skills, and a healthy walk with Jesus.
